About the school

Concordia School Paris is a bilingual French-English international school welcoming students from kindergarten to middle school. The school will open a high school offering the International Baccalaureate in 2027. Accredited by Cambridge, it delivers a dual curriculum: the French national education programme and the Cambridge international programme, each taught by teachers in their respective languages. The school operates on two campuses in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

The role

We are seeking a French-speaking mathematics teacher to deliver lessons in French to 4e and 3e classes and prepare students for the mathematics component of the Diplôme national du brevet.

Levels: 4e and 3e (cycle 4)
Programme: official French national education curriculum with preparation for the DNB
Campus: Cimarosa Campus, 7 rue Cimarosa, 75116 Paris
Start date: September 2026
Working hours: volume defined according to profile and availability
Contract: private law contract (type and remuneration confirmed at interview according to experience)

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver mathematics sequences for 4e and 3e in line with the cycle 4 programmes.
• Prepare 3e students for the brevet mathematics examination through regular practice, past papers, mock exams and exam methodology.
• Assess student progress, complete reports and communicate with families during parent-teacher meetings.
• Collaborate with the English-speaking mathematics team to ensure coherence between the French and Cambridge/IGCSE pathways.
• Provide individual support to students who require it and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics or an equivalent qualification.
• CAPES in mathematics or significant experience teaching mathematics at middle-school level.
• Strong knowledge of cycle 4 expectations and the requirements of the DNB examination.
• Enjoyment of teamwork and interest in an international, bilingual school environment.
• Caring yet rigorous pedagogy, excellent listening skills and the ability to re-engage students who need additional support.
• English proficiency is appreciated but not required.
