The role

We seek an inspiring and passionate Science Teacher (General) to join our highly successful school community. The successful candidate will embody the Taaleem ethos of excellence, innovation, creativity, and compassion. Through inspirational teaching and a deep understanding of students’ individual learning needs, the teacher will help deliver curriculum programmes that lay firm foundations for academic and professional success, personal fulfilment, and a love of lifelong learning. The position commences August 2026.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in education or a degree with PGCE, PGDE, or QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) in the relevant subject area
• A minimum of two years’ teaching experience preferred
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Experience teaching the IB is desirable but not essential
• A passion for education and a commitment to nurturing each student’s potential
• A strong understanding of best practices, current pedagogy, and technology-enhanced learning
• Proven ability to foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
