The role

Sunmarke School seeks an outstanding Science Cover Teacher for an immediate start for one term. The successful candidate will deliver engaging science lessons across the secondary school, maintain high standards of teaching and learning, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum of a B.Ed. or a B.A. with PGCE in Science, together with QTS.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning in science.
• Exhibit a growth mindset, being reflective, adaptable and solution-focused.
• Be creative, enthusiastic and forward-thinking, with the ability to inspire students.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, students and parents.
• Use data and assessment effectively to inform teaching, raise attainment and improve student progress.
• Show ambition to contribute to a world-class school environment and a commitment to professional growth.
• Be passionate about providing enriched learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
• Be tech-savvy and able to deliver engaging lessons using innovative tools, including state-of-the-art AI suites.
