The role

Al Rabeeh Academy seeks experienced and passionate Secondary Maths Teachers to join its high-performing team from August 2026. The successful candidates will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including GCSE and A-Level Mathematics, within an international British curriculum setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards up to at least GCSE level.
  • Model strong analytical, problem-solving and numeracy skills through creative and effective teaching approaches.
  • Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track and support student progress.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development and the creation of high-quality teaching resources.
  • Support the academic and pastoral well-being of students while promoting the school’s values, routines and high expectations.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication on student progress and next steps.
  • Participate actively in school events, professional development and whole-school initiatives.

Requirements

  • Fluent English speaker.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject, together with PGCE, QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student well-being.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
