The role
Al Rabeeh Academy seeks experienced and passionate Secondary Maths Teachers to join its dynamic team as soon as possible. The successful candidates will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including GCSE and A-Level Mathematics. Teachers will inspire students through engaging, concept-driven lessons that develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills while fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards up to at least GCSE level.
- Model strong analytical, problem-solving and numeracy skills through creative and effective teaching approaches.
- Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track and support student progress.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development and the creation of high-quality teaching resources.
- Support the academic and pastoral well-being of students while promoting the school’s values, routines and high expectations.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication on student progress and next steps.
- Participate actively in school events, professional development and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements
- Fluent English speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject together with PGCE, QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student wellbeing.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
