The role

Jebel Ali School, Dubai, seeks an outstanding Secondary Science Teacher specialising in Chemistry to join its leading British curriculum school in August 2026. The successful candidate will teach Chemistry to GCSE and A Level using the Edexcel specification and will also deliver all science disciplines at Key Stage 3.

Requirements

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification such as a B.Ed. or PGCE
• Demonstrate a proven track record of outstanding results teaching Chemistry to GCSE and A Level using the Edexcel specification
• Possess a full working knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and Wales and its associated assessment practices
• Show a strong focus on the pastoral care of students, balancing academic and social progress while identifying safeguarding concerns
• Display excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to both individual and collaborative professional development
• Be available to commence in August 2026
