The role
We are currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced Secondary & Sixth Form Chemistry Teacher to join our science department. The successful candidate will have a passion for Chemistry and will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons across KS3–KS5. The position is full time or part time, with a start date of September 2026.
At this time, we are only looking for candidates who already have the right to work and reside in Spain.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons to students across KS3–KS5, incorporating a variety of teaching methods and techniques.
- Foster creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking skills through practical investigations and scientific enquiry.
- Incorporate technology into teaching practices, where appropriate, to enhance learning experiences.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their work, encouraging growth and improvement.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-Level Chemistry examinations.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and academic ambition.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- PGCE in Science/Chemistry with QTS.
- Right to work in Spain.
- Previous experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level Chemistry.
- Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for Chemistry education and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet students’ diverse learning needs.
