About the school

Socrates Educa International School is located in Salou, south of Barcelona. The school is inclusive and offers a complete education to students aged 1 to 18+. It is the first school to operate under the Socrates Educa model, an innovative pedagogical system that may be implemented in future schools.

The school is a popular and happy English, Spanish and Catalan trilingual institution. It provides Pre-school, Primary, Secondary, National and International Baccalaureate programmes as well as the US High School Dual Diploma. The role

We are seeking a Secondary Technology Teacher with experience in national and International Baccalaureate programmes for the next academic year, starting in September 2026. The successful candidate will teach students aged 12 to 18 and bring technology to life in the classroom.

Requirements

• Fluent in English with the ability to teach entirely in authentic English
• Bachelor of Education, PGCE, Secondary QTS or equivalent qualification
• Strong ICT skills, including familiarity with Mac and iPad devices and educational applications
• Experience teaching technology to students of all abilities
• Ability to work as part of a team in a multilingual environment

IB training and experience, or willingness to complete training, is desirable. Knowledge of the Spanish ESO and Bachillerato curriculum, as well as Spanish and Catalan, is an advantage.
