The role

We are seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis, working across Key Stage 4. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their teaching career or seeking to develop their skills in special educational needs within a whole-school context.

As an SEN Teacher, you will work closely with students who have special educational needs, supporting their learning and development across various subjects. You will play a key role in creating tailored learning plans that help each student achieve their potential while fostering an inclusive environment.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential; applications from those new to teaching are welcomed.
• A genuine interest in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with young people facing challenges.
