The role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our successful and dynamic Special Educational Needs Department. The post involves supporting student learning in the classroom and may include working with small groups both within and outside lessons.

The role is suitable for candidates with or without prior experience and would be ideal for someone seeking school experience before undertaking initial teacher training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom support to students with special educational needs
• Work with small groups of students both inside and outside lessons

Requirements

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic approach
• Strong passion for working with young people
• Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including an Enhanced DBS check
