Phorms School Frankfurt is a bilingual school with two locations in the Frankfurt metropolitan area. At the family-friendly Phorms Taunus Campus in Steinbach, surrounded by nature, the school provides German-English language acquisition for around 700 children and young people from nursery through to secondary school using the immersion method. The role
Phorms School Frankfurt is seeking a qualified Teacher in Mathematics for the secondary school in Steinbach (Taunus) near Frankfurt. The position is available part-time or full-time and begins at the start of the school year 2026/2027.
Key responsibilities
- Design imaginative and varied lessons that engage students with the curriculum.
- Create a positive, supportive and welcoming learning environment in the classroom.
- Assess student work, including the preparation and correction of deliverables and marking for report cards.
- Apply differentiated teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
- Organise, implement and follow up on parent-teacher conferences and meetings.
- Participate regularly in school events and conferences.
- Take part in departmental meetings.
Requirements
- Qualified secondary teacher holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or higher qualification in Mathematics, together with a teaching certification.
- Passion for the subject and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Ability to act as a role model for students and enjoyment of teaching in an international setting.
- Interest in the development and implementation of new pedagogical concepts focused on the individualised development of students.
- Openness to using new technology to enhance learning and to implementing innovative methodologies.
- Very good German language skills (at least B2 level).
