We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Art & Design Technology to join our dedicated Creative Technologies department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their teaching career or looking to develop their skills within Key Stage 3 & 4.

Curriculum: Key Stage 3 & 4
Experience: Successful experience teaching the relevant subject at Key Stage 3 & 4 with desirable experience teaching at Key Stage 5.

Role Overview:
As a Teacher of Art & DT at Derby Cathedral School, you will inspire students through creative teaching methods. You will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons that encourage artistic expression, technical skills, and design thinking among pupils aged 11-14.
Skills and Qualifications:
- PGCE or equivalent in secondary education with relevant subject specialism.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage young learners.
- Basic knowledge of graphic arts software/tools would be advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to plan effective lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
