King Edward's Witley is a flourishing school set across an attractive 100-acre campus in a beautiful part of rural Surrey.
The role
We seek to appoint a full-time Teacher of Art, with part-time considered, to cover a short period of colleague absence from September 2026 until October half-term.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the agreed timetable allocation of groups across the age and ability range to GCSE and A-level.
- Ensure that pupils are taught according to their individual needs and abilities, following the syllabus and schemes of work set by the Head of Department.
- Teach GCSE and A-level Textiles where possible.
Requirements
- Experienced and outstanding teacher with the skills and aptitudes to motivate and inspire diverse pupils.
- Full commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Successful completion of an Enhanced Disclosure through the DBS.
- Willingness to undergo online and social media checks as part of due diligence for shortlisted candidates.
