The role

Amity International School, Abu Dhabi is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Science with a specific focus on Chemistry at GCSE and A Level. Experience of BTEC Applied Science is an advantage. Due to expansion in the senior school and increased demand for places, the school is recruiting outstanding teachers to join its successful team from August 2026. Applicants should demonstrate exceptional teaching that results in high student attainment through the practices and principles of positive education, along with experience and a willingness to expand science beyond the classroom. Requirements

• Well-qualified teacher with a strong track record of exceptional teaching and high student attainment
• Experience teaching Chemistry at GCSE and A Level
• Experience of BTEC Applied Science is an advantage
• Willingness to expand science learning outside the classroom
• Commitment to positive education practices
• Successful completion of child protection screening and submission of a current police criminal check or equivalent
• Provision of a minimum of two references, at least one from the Head Teacher or Principal of the most recent school
