The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Computing (0.6 FTE). Due to the school’s expansion and growth in student numbers, we seek an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated practitioner to teach Computing across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will raise standards of student attainment and achievement, monitor and support student progress, and maintain high expectations of themselves, their team and their students.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Raise standards of student attainment and achievement.
• Monitor and support student progress.
• Maintain high expectations of self, colleagues and students.
• Contribute to the continual improvement of the subject.

Requirements

• A real passion for Computing and the ability to inspire students.
• Innovative and committed classroom practice.
• Experience of teaching Computing at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Applications are welcome from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
