Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba Secondary is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Computing to join our team.
There is an opportunity for the right candidate to lead the Business and Computing Faculty.

You will join a dynamic and passionate team and will be responsible for providing an exceptional education to some of the most ambitious students in Dubai.

Following Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, International A Level and BTEC Level 3, you will inspire your students daily, to become engaged, independent, and successful life-longer learners.

We are looking for someone who is:

Essential:

  • Hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Strong subject knowledge and sheer enthusiasm for the subject that you are ready to share with our students

  • Experience of teaching GCSE and A Level/BTEC

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience, though new teachers who are aspiring to be outstanding will be considered

  • Able to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record of delivering outstanding results

  • A highly collaborative nature and strong communication skills

  • Evidence of commitment to recent professional development relevant to this role

  • Ideas that will help to further the high profile of the department within the school

  • ICT skills that reflect the impact of technology in today’s classrooms

  • A commitment to the extra-curricular programme

  •  Commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students within their care

  • Innovative, creative and positive mindset

Desirable:

  • Experience of working overseas or with international students
