Teacher of Drama Basic
The role
St Margaret’s School in Hertfordshire seeks to appoint a well-qualified and inspirational graduate teacher of Drama. The successful candidate will teach across the age ranges of this all-through school. The position has a start date of January 2027. Full-time or part-time working arrangements may be available.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Drama teaching across the full age range of the school.
- Contribute to the success of the Drama Department through collaborative and enthusiastic practice.
- Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities.
Requirements
- Well-qualified graduate with a strong academic background in Drama or a related subject.
- Inspirational classroom practitioner with the ability to motivate students of all ages.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic approach with excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
- Positive outlook and willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities and the broader school community.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, including willingness to undergo appropriate child protection screening and Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
