The role
Monk’s Walk School seeks to appoint a Teacher of Drama on Teachers’ Pay Scale. This is a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover, commencing January 2027. The successful candidate will join a forward-looking, ambitious and supportive department. Drama is a popular option at both GCSE and A Level, with very good outcomes. Extra-curricular provision is strong, and the new colleague will be expected to contribute to that provision.
Key responsibilities

- Contribute to the strong extra-curricular provision in the department.
Requirements
All staff are expected to share the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. References and online searches will be conducted for short-listed candidates. All offers are subject to satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
