About the school

Star Salford Academy is a 5-form entry mixed secondary school for 11 to 16 year olds, located in Little Hulton, Manchester. The school opened in September 2023 and has a leadership specialism. It provides a knowledge-based academic curriculum alongside a rich and diverse leadership programme that grows character and inspires charitable and social action. The pursuit of educational excellence is based on the belief that every pupil has the capacity to become a successful and inspirational leader. During its opening year, the school admitted an intake of 150 pupils in Year 7 and will continue to admit a new Year 7 intake at the beginning of each academic year.

The role

Star Salford Academy seeks an outstanding Teacher of French with a proven track record of success and raising pupil outcomes. The successful candidate will deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils and be passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people in a disadvantaged community. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.

Requirements

• A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
• The ability to teach French to GCSE standard.
• Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
• Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
