The role
Thistley Hough Academy seeks a Teacher of Geography to inspire curiosity, broaden horizons, and help students make sense of the world around them. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and ambitious lessons that ignite a love of learning, challenge students to think critically about global issues, and support every learner to achieve their full potential. The post is permanent, full time, and term time only, with a salary on the MPS/UPS scale and an immediate start.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A Geography-related degree and strong subject knowledge
- Excellent critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, rigour, and a creative approach to problem solving
- A commitment to inclusive education and ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve and succeed
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the school community
