The Geography teaching team comprises eight dedicated and enthusiastic members working with nearly 500 students. The team is highly experienced and qualified, with a strongly collaborative approach. Students participate in a broad range of additional activities on site and through fieldwork, alongside delivery of the AQA A level specification.

The role

We are seeking a Teacher of Geography to join the college on a 0.5 FTE permanent contract commencing in January 2027. The salary range is £33,465 to £51,714 per annum FTE, with an actual salary of £16,732 to £25,857. The reference number for this post is 04/27. The closing date is Monday 28 September 2026 at 08:00 and interviews will be held on Wednesday 7th October.

Requirements

• A degree in Geography or a closely allied subject.
• Enthusiasm for the subject and the ability to share that enthusiasm with students.
