The role
The school seeks a Teacher of Girls’ PE on the Teachers’ Pay Scale. This is a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract commencing January 2027 to provide maternity cover. The successful candidate will join a highly successful PE department that teaches to GCSE and A level with very good results.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality PE teaching to girls across Key Stages 3–5.
- Contribute to the department’s strong academic outcomes at GCSE and A level.
- Provide a wide range of extra-curricular PE opportunities for students.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status and the ability to teach Girls’ PE to GCSE and A level.
- A strong commitment to extra-curricular PE provision.
- Full adherence to the school’s safeguarding and child-protection policies, including willingness to undergo enhanced DBS clearance and reference checks.
