The role

Amity International School, Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Science. Due to the continued growth and increased demand for places at Amity, the school is recruiting to support its outstanding Science department. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring students and committed to delivering high-quality teaching that develops students' understanding, problem-solving skills, and scientific inquiry. Start date for this position will be August 2026.

Requirements

• Degree in Science or another relevant field with a PGCE to meet the expectations for teacher registration in Abu Dhabi.
• Experience teaching Science within the British Curriculum is essential, along with a strong GCSE background in Science.
• The ability to teach at A Level or BTEC level is a key requirement.
• Proven experience delivering these qualifications will be at a distinct advantage.
• All applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening and submit a current police criminal check or equivalent from their home country or current country of residence prior to appointment, in addition to supplying a minimum of two references, at least one of which should be from the Head Teacher/Principal of the most recent school.
