The role

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Science Teacher to join our forward-thinking science department. Evidence-based teaching and learning are at the forefront of everything the department does. All science teachers teach all three disciplines from years 7 to 11, and the department also offers triple science at GCSE.

This is a one-year fixed-term contract on the Teachers Pay Scale, commencing January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Teach science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering all three disciplines to years 7–11.
• Contribute to the delivery of triple science at GCSE where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and ambitious science team.

Requirements

• Experience of teaching science within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Excellent ICT, oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organised, flexible and conscientious with a can-do approach to work.
• Ability and willingness to work effectively as part of a team.
